Summer at the Park

Summer in Houston is is full swing and Isabel has been braving the humidity to head to the park to conquer the playground and feed her feathered friends! She has since discovered how thrilling it is to have the wind blowing through your pigtails while flying down slides. She has also been introduced to the magical world of breadcrumbs and ducks. We have just celebrated her 18month birthday and while she is enjoying a world full of new words, we are enjoying decreased daycare tuition! Isabel says many words now including: Mama, Dada, dog, ball, duck, sock, eye, what's that?, no, one, two, three, baby, uhoh. She also signs for "more" and "all done". She shakes her head "no", but we dont think she understand what that means as we will ask her if she wants something, she will shake her head, and then reach for it. She uses a fork and spoon fairly well, but has started to get a little finicky. She is still a good eater and we have even seen her pick green beans out of pasta to eat the beans!

And of course after all this playing in the sun, a shower is just the thing to get you clean! And who can resist making faces through glass at Mommy?
